FLOOD IN BANDUNG !

          On Monday, 24th of October 2016, in about 10 to 11 a.m. in the morning, a huge rain had just passed Djunjunan Street. This caused an enormous flood which the rainwater covered the streets for about 50 till 70 cm, recorded exactly in front of BTC mall. It was about the chest of an adult body.
          This caused a long traffic jam in the field. A lot of cars couldn't move because their wheels were drowned by the rainwater, only vehicles such as trucks could pass through. A lot of citizens posted this situation through social media. Many photos were also taken and shared to social media.
          High stream flow caused the water drainage to overflow in Djunjunan Street. Streets accessing Djunjunan Street were closed to prevent other people to use that way. Police were blocking the streets until the flood was over or calm.
          Until 2 p.m., it was still hard for the vehicles to move. Many vehicles were stucked in the streets. The traffic lights went back to normal and worked at about 2.30 p.m.. Vehicles could only go with a speed of 20 km/hour. On the other side, the rainwater pool in front of BTC was getting calm and better. Some citizens also started to clean up the mess such as the trashes and mud.
          It is said by one witness of the incident that it was the very first time that happened and it has never happened before.
          A flood also happened in Pagarsih Street, Bandung. The flood occurred for about an hour, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.. This flood is very big and in fact it is the most crazy one. The street became like a river with fast and heavily flowing water.
          It is said by one witness in the incident that that was the worst flood every happened in Pagarsih Street, It was very heavily and even a car went missing going into a sewer.
