2016 SUMMER HOLIDAY TRIP!

 In the past holiday, 6 July till 24 July 2016, I went to USA for the second time. The difference was that last year I went to the West but this year I went to the East. The great thing about this holiday was that it was 3 weeks while the bad thing was that I skipped school for a week. So now lets start with the journey of my 2016 summer holiday.

Times Square

 At first, we, my family and I, went from Bandung to Jakarta because we took a plane there. The plane was Emirates. We flew first to Dubai for 8 hours, transit there for 3 hours and then flew again for 13 hours to New York. As we arrived, we picked up our luggage then headed to the shuttle station. We rode a shuttle to the Double Tree hotel. The hotel is so close to Times Square. We only had dinner and walked around Times Square that day. We spent 4 nights in that hotel. The second day and the third day we went circling New York with a tour guide named Alex. Alex was born in Indonesia but he has been living in New York for about 3 years. He showed us to a lot of famous and interesting places such as the Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge and The Statue of Liberty. On the fourth day, we went shopping to Fifth Avenue and watched a broadway show called The Wicked. The broadway show was amazing! In fact, that was the last day we walked around New York. On the fifth day, we checked out of the hotel and headed straight to the airport with a shuttle.

  Here was my next destination. From New York airport, we flew to Orlando airport using the Delta aircraft. The flight was about 3 hours. As we got out of the craft, we took our luggage and walked towards the shuttle station. We headed to the Royal Pacific Resort which is in Universal Boulevard. We spent the time there the same as we spent in New York. After we arrived in the resort, we checked in and got to our room. That day we just went to Universal Citywalk because its already kind of late and we needed to pack some things for the other day. We rode a boat going there, it was free. In the second day we went to Universal Studios! It is a theme park. I was so happy because we got express passes (each of us) from the resort, so we didn't have to stand on a long line. I rode a lot of rides. The ride I like the most was the Hollywood Rockn Roller Coaster. It was because it is a roller coaster and you could pick the song you'd like to hear while riding the roller coaster, isn't it cool right? I also met many marvels characters like Captain America, Wolverine, Spiderman, etc. It was an exhausting day which we played there for more than 12 hours. My feet were burning as I was walking to places. It was a tiring day yet, an absolute fun day too. The next day, we went to a theme park again which is called Island Of Adventure. It was right next to Universal Studios, so we got there using the boat again. The most famous thing about this place is that there is the Harry Potter World! It was very fun there. I also tried the butterbeer which is only available there and it tastes so good. I also rode the loonly toons ride and it was a crazy waterboat slide that made my body wet. It was an amazing day and I hoped that I could go there again. The last-full day in Universal, we just went to outlets and malls nearby.

  The next day, we checked out of the resort and waited for a transcar to pick us up. We headed to Disney Cruise Line!!! I was so happy and I didn’t have patient to get in the cruise that time. We stayed there for 3 nights. In the first day, we just looked around the cruise and watched show. There are a lot of activities in the cruise such as
 playing games, watching shows or movies, swimming in the pool, basketball, mini golf and many other else. The second day, we went to Nassau, the Bahamas. We just walked around there because the tickets for doing activities there were all sold out. It was very hot and we went back to the cruise after a couple of hours. After that, we swam in the pool and rode this waterslide inside the cruise called the Aquaduck. It was amazing and I rode that 4 times. Third day was the last full-day there. We went to Castaway, Disney’s private beach. We had a lot of activities there. We swam with stingrays, rode bicycles, relaxing in the beach, etc. It was the hottest day that made me got sunburnt. We got back to the cruise and washed up. We watched fireworks that night and watched the Pirate show. I was so sad because we were leaving by the following day. So here was the day we left the cruise. We waited so long for the car that picked us up. We headed to Disney Port Orleans Resort.

  This was our last destination which was Disneyland. We stayed there for 4 nights. In the first day, we went to Florida Mall and Target to buy some staffs and food for the following days. Target is my favorite place in the world because it has everything you wants. LOL. For the following 3 days we went to 4 Disneyland theme parks which are Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. We spent a day in Magic Kingdom because it was the most crowded one, we spent another day for Epcot and Animal Kingdom and spent half day in Hollywood Studios. The ride I like the most was in Hollywood Studios called the Rockn Rollercoaster, it was the best ride ever in my life. The other half day after Hollywood Studios We went to Disney Springs which is like Universal Citywalk but even better. I saw a lot of pokemon go players everywhere. That was our last night in USA and it was really sad to leave. The upcoming day we left and went back to our hometown.

I really thanked my parents for this amazing trip and they are the best human beings in the whole wide world!
