A long time ago, lived a young
healthy small boy named Jack who lived in a not rich family. Jack was a very
kind-hearted kid, he always helped his mom. He lived with his mom and grandparents,
his father had died when Jack was still a baby and the cause was a brain
cancer. Until then, He was still confused about how his father looked like. He
wanted to be a kid that will make their parents proud, that’s why he always
studied well at school and helped his mom works after school.
One day, Jack was going to school
and arrived at the school with no problem. After all the subjects had finished
on that day, the teacher told all of the students to not go home yet and she
wanted to tell an information first. The teacher asked all of the students what
do they think the information was about
but everybody didn’t know. Then, the teacher said cheerfully, “Students, don’t
you remember that today is Mother’s Day! I hope that you can each give your
mother something to appreciate what your mother
has done for you.” Jack was happy when he heard it but, he was still
confused about what to give her. A brilliant idea just came out of his mind,
and that was to give his mother a gift. He wanted that ‘gift’ to be made by
himself and to buy that gift with his pocket money.
After
school, he went to a bakery and bought a beautiful rounded cake which was not
to expensive because the owner there gave him a discount, that the person had
already think that this was for his mother. After buying the cake, he stopped
at a stationary store to buy coloured papers. He wanted to write the letter
there and decorate it. The owner of the shop also helped him decorated the
card. Jack thanked the owner very much and quickly went home.
As he
arrived home, he went to his mother, brought the cake and letter, and said to
her, “Happy Mother’s Day mom! Thank you for everything you have done for me and
this is what I give for you. Sorry mom if I have made a lot of mistakes and bring
you hard times!” His mother was so shocked, proud and absolutely happy for her
son! Tears went out of her eyes and just hugged him tightly.
After she
read the letter, she just prayed and thanked God for giving her a special
child.
